For the year 2016-2017 Full time student's tuition is $52,055.
This includes 12 credits in the Fall ($23,136)+12 credits in the Spring ($23,136)+3 credits summer practicum ($5,784). Enrollment beyond 12 credit hours in a given term will not result in additional tuition charges. Effectively: biomedical tuition is "capped" at the 12 credit hour rate.

Currently, a number of scholarships are offered to our students. Please note: Applicants have two weeks after the submission of your application on ApplyYourself to apply for the Hoyas for Science and/or the DMV scholarship.
Five awards of $5000 each are given to the top 5 students in the CAM class each year. Applications are automatically considered upon the completion of the student roster for the coming academic year.
This merit scholarship will provide a partial tuition assistance equal to twenty percent (20%) of tuition costs for one academic year. It will be awarded to newly admitted qualified students whose background or experience, when evaluated holistically, suggests they are uniquely able to contribute to the diversity of the BGE community.
The factors which may be considered include:
- a student’s socioeconomic, cultural and/or family background (i.e., first-generation or first-in-family to attend college, parents’ level of education and income, region of residence, high school or undergraduate institution attended);
- personal experiences and challenges; and/or
- demonstrated ability to develop and support diversity and cultural understanding.
Applicants must demonstrate a record of superior academic achievement (including factors such as grade point average, honors, or other designation); and applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicants from the pool of all BGE Masters Programs who submit a Scholarship application and the required essay will be considered.
This scholarship will provide a partial tuition assistance credit of $10,000.00 total (awarded to the student via their student account as $5,000.00/semester (2 semesters maximum)) to applicants who currently reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Eligible and qualified students will have a record of superior academic achievement (including factors such as grade point average, honors, or other designation), show a commitment to biomedical research and graduate studies at the Masters’ level, and demonstrate their creative thinking ability through an essay. Applicants from the pool of all BGE Masters Programs who submit a Scholarship application and the required essay will be considered.
